Charminar
The Charminar is a square structure which has four imposing arches on each side. The structure measures 31.95 mts. The Charminar has got various floral designs beautifully carved on the walls of it. There are four minarets with each of them having three storeyes. The Four Minarets beautifully carved in stone and a handsome piece of architecture of those times.The minaret stands out of the crowd. Once you are near, it looks quite impressionable. In each of the minarets there is a staircase which has got 149 steps.The stairs are considerably spaced in a circular fashion.On the second floor of Charminar there is a mosque situated on the Western side facing Mecca, the holy city of Muslims.
Great view of the surrounding areas which consists of shopping bazaars,can be seen from the balconies of the charminar.The view of the bazaars and the Mecca Masjid nearby is incredible!. The old market is situated around Charminar. The markets situated around it has a vast variety to offer from bangels to pearls and clothes etc. Try bargaining as a rule and not an exception when it comes to shopping.
Charminar is belived to constructed in the heart of the city those days.In the middle of the eighteenth century, Bussy the French Commander made Charminar his headquarters.
